Gisele Bündchen holds an event to promote environmental causes and receives Ivete Sangalo

The Brazilian top model Gisele Bündchen, 42, was present on Saturday night (20) at the first Gala of Fundo Luz Alliance, a partnership between her and BrazilFoundation, at the Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, in Miami. The Fund’s mission is to promote resources for civil society organizations focused on socio-environmental initiatives for the benefit of people and nature.

Gisele, who appeared wearing a set of emeralds, white gold and diamonds, donated the jewelry to be auctioned during the event. In addition to them, the Brazilian’s own dress, created by artist Vik Muniz, a photograph by Sebastião Salgado, an exclusive experience at Salvador’s Carnival with five nights in a hotel and two in a box and even going up in Ivete Sangalo’s trio were auctioned.

The main musical attraction of the night was Ivete herself, who, in addition to singing, praised her top friend during the party.

“Every mobilization for good is essential in the lives of each one of us and when we come together with the same objective, same focus, it becomes even more special. Gisele is a person very engaged in causes of total importance, like her relationship with sustainability and nature,” said Ivete.

“As a woman completely involved in this environment, I think it’s necessary, because unity makes strength. So, I’m here with my heart full of love. Gisele is a great friend and I know that all the people involved in this project are also on the same path , on the same path. Being able to use my voice for the benefit of such an important cause is doubly pleasurable for me”, added the singer.
