Celebrities mourn the death of Tina Turner

The announcement of the death of Tina Turner this Wednesday afternoon (24) caused several celebrities to mourn the death of the American singer on social networks. Interpreter of hits such as “Private Dancer”, “Let’s Stay Together, “We Don’t Need Another Hero”, among others, she has sold more than 100 million discs in her six-decade career.

Despite no longer doing concerts and major tours since 2008, she still sang at small events. Tina Turner’s last public appearance was in 2019, at the opening of “The Tina Turner Musical”, on Broadway, New York, United States. Tina’s death at age 83 was confirmed by the artist’s publicist to the Sky News website, but the cause ended up not being revealed. The artist had been battling cancer in recent years.
