Takis Karagounias and Nikos Bartzis have opened a front between them after yesterday’s “tackling” of the latter on the former during the first immunity competition. Both exchanged fire both in the Council and later, with the tension being kept at full blast in Wednesday’s (24/5) episode.

Specifically, after a confrontation between Takis Karagounias and Giorgos Asimakopoulos, the former, leaving for the bench of the Red team, moved towards Nikos Bartzis, hitting him in the sternum with his shoulder.

Immediately, the Blue team players protested strongly about “physical contact” and temporarily left the game, refusing to continue under these conditions.

In fact, the players of the Red team had a fight with Takis Karagounias, since this hit came without any provocation. With the incident between them being quite fresh, Giorgos Lianos announced to the two teams the expulsion of Takis Karagounias from the remainder of the second immunity competition. Also, the player will receive a penalty regarding the next two prizes.

Things didn’t get any better in the Council that followed either. Takis Karagounias apologized and accepted the decision of the production, however he left his “spikes”, stating that he even considered leaving the game.

Nikos Bartzis was not moved by his opponent, considering his move to hit him “intentional”. This statement opened a new round of controversy, with Takis Karagounia arguing that he is “the black sheep of Survivor”.
