The latest Screenwriters Guild of America strike lasted 100 days and cost the California economy more than $2 billion
Jason Sudeikis and the cast of ‘Ted Lasso’ support her mobilizations Screenwriters Association of America. Series star-co-creator Brendan Hunt, who plays Coach Byrd, posted a photo on Instagram of several of the “Ted Lasso” actors holding signs in support of the ongoing Screenwriters Guild of America strike.
Along with them Jason Sudeikis and Brendan Huntother cast members were Hannah WaddinghamThe Jeremy SwiftThe Nick MuhammadThe James Lance etc.

“Big thanks to the gang for taking some time out of such a long day to show their support for #wgastrong #tedlasso,” Hunt wrote in the caption.
Hunt and Sudeikis spoke to THR about the strike earlier this month. “I feel like it affects us, whether we know it or not, when they try to divide and conquer, when people have their hands in other people’s pockets” said the American actor, comedian, screenwriter and producer.
“Some of those pockets contain money, but some of those pockets contain ideas, and nothing is offered in return for those ideas and the willingness and work ethic and sensitivity that screenwriters bring to film and television“, he added.
