Asian film legend and WWE superstar John Cena join forces against the bad guys
A heart-pounding action-packed trailer for the film “Hidden Strike” – which went through many hurdles, a pandemic and delays to completion – has been released by XYZ Films, starring Asian film legend Jackie Chan and superstar of WWE John Cena (John Cena).
The script is written by Arash Amel and directed by the American producer and director Scott Waugh.
The action follows “two ex-special forces soldiers who are called upon to safely escort a group of oil refinery employees along Baghdad’s ‘Highway of Death’ to save the Green Belt.”
The two actors are supported, among others, by Johan Philip Asbæk (Pilou Asbæk), Amadeus Serafini (Amadeus Serafini) and Zhenwei Wang (Zhenwei Wang).
The film is expected in theaters on July 6.
Trivia: The film, originally titled ‘Snafu’ or ‘Project X-Traction’, originally started filming in June 2018, during which time Cena was living in China.
