Ten years after The Wind Rises and his then retirement, o Hayao Miyazaki returns to his directorial duties with a – indeed last this time – film, entitled “How Do You Live?” and the famous Japanese studio, Studio Ghibli, has just announced that it will not advertise its co-founder’s film at all.

The film is based on Genzaburo Yoshino’s novel titled “How Do You Live?” (How do you live?), which was published in 1937.

The book is about a boy from Tokyo who is dealing with the recent death of his father and the director himself told the New York Times that it is one of his favorite books from his childhood.

The upcoming film, which is set to premiere in Japan on July 14this one of the most anticipated films of the year for the country and this is because it will be the last “farewell” to the iconic creator.

Until now, Studio Ghibli has not released any further information about the film, and as they recently revealed, they do not even plan to release a trailer before its premiere.
