2. Tsiou…: The underground film by Makis Papadimitratos is staged as a performance at Botanikos

The legendary “Tsiou…” by Makis Papadimitratos, the ultimate underground symbol of Greek cinema, returns this summer, 18 years after its first screening, this time in the form of a theatrical performance. “On the fifteenth of August, only the drummers and those who don’t have people to go out stay in Athens. That fifteenth of August was very difficult. There were no francs, that is, my drink was just enough… I remember that day, all the people who had stayed in Athens were very mad…”. This is how Tsiou’s story begins about that summer when, alone in Athens, he tried to find his dose and with it he also found a whole world of acquaintances and strangers next door, in a constant search for an identity that was destined to remain in history. Starring: Alexandros Parisis, Makis Papadimitratos, Anastasis Kolovos, Traiana Anania, Antonis Tsotsiopoulos, Kalliopi Tzermanis, Dimitris Kapetanakos, Yannis Mitas, Nikitas Papadopoulos, Stratos Sopilis, Myrto Petroheilou, Petros Giorkatzis, Fuerza Angelidis, Emilia Siafarika, Regina Mann dilari.
