Colleagues of Tom Cruise always fear for the life of the star in dangerous scenes of ‘Mission Impossible’

The fact that Tom Cruise, 60, likes adrenaline and dispenses with stunt doubles in the danger scenes of the “Mission: Impossible” films is nothing new. However, no one imagined the fear that permeates his co-stars in relation to him. Many members of the saga pray that the actor does not suffer a serious accident or even die during filming. The confession was made by Simon Pegg at the premiere of “Mission: Impossible – Reckoning Part I”, in Rome, this Monday (19)

“Tom is jumping off cliffs on a motorcycle in one scene. In another, he’s hanging from trains… These are genuinely dangerous things,” said the actor, who plays Benji Dunn, friend of Ethan Hunt, Cruise’s role in the film. . “There’s always a feeling that one day something could go wrong, we could lose him, you know,” he told Deadline. He even joked that he is “lucky” that his character, in general, “is just behind the computer”.

Tom, who has already hung from a plane wing and parachuted from a helicopter over 3,000 meters in previous episodes, this time stars in scenes on a moving train and jumps from a motorcycle 50 meters high, among several scenes dangerous.

“Mission: Impossible 7” opens worldwide on July 13 and Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, Esai Morales, among others, are in the cast. Christopher McQuarrie is directing.
