Aunt Surica announces winter in a bathrobe, slippers and socks: ‘dress warmly, huh’

Zeca Pagodinho still hasn’t appeared in a hat, bathrobe, socks and slippers to withstand the carioca winter, an image that is already a tradition on the sambista’s social networks.

Tia Surica, icon of Portela, however, did it on the first day of the new station. A video released by the Rio City Hall shows the honorary president of the samba school with the fun look.

“Take a coat, hem”, advises the samba dancer while adjusting her bathrobe and putting on her slippers (with socks). She also wears the traditional bonnet and appears against a backdrop of digitally produced snow.

The city hall video announces the arrival of winter, this Wednesday (21).

Despite the official warning and caution from Tia Surica, the season should be marked by above-average temperatures in most of Brazil.
