Being president of Brazil does not seem to frighten presenter Luciano Huck, 51, although this plan is not part of his vanity. That’s what he said in an interview with the PodPah podcast.
“I’m not afraid of that, from the bottom of my heart, but I don’t have that vanity. Everyone I wanted in life never was. That’s fate. So, what I know is that I didn’t leave the debate. The smoke didn’t back into the bottle, understand?”, he highlighted.
“I want, when we sit here again, 20 years from now, that we live in a fairer country. So, I think we have to train new leaders, debate the ideas that actually solve our problem”, amended.
Asked about what he thinks for the future, Huck stated that he wants to “participate in the civic and political life of the country while I’m here”, and also highlighted that “it’s no use for us to stay with an intransigent right and I don’t think that the left in Brazil is delayed”.
The presenter of Domingão, whose candidacy was speculated in 2022 and later discarded, also condemned the polarization of the country and the fact that he received criticism from those who disagree with his political opinions.
“Before this divided and polarized country, because you thought differently you weren’t an enemy. Nowadays, the person who will criticize me because I’m here is the guy who doesn’t vote for the guy I voted for. divided, it will always be one side or the other, we will not exchange ideas. We have lost the ability to listen. The internet gives a voice to all possible idiots”, he explained.
