A work done in ten days at Neymar’s mansion in Mangaratiba (RJ) has been the talk of the town. The athlete and his father hired a company to revitalize a lake and transform the space into an artificial pool with a natural look. The company itself provided photos and videos of how it was and how the environment turned out (see below).
The work was embargoed on Thursday (22) after complaints of irregularities. In a post on social media, the Mangaratiba Department of the Environment states that several environmental violations were discovered.

Among them: diversion of water course, abstraction of water from river without authorization, abstraction of water for artificial lake, earthworks, excavation, movement of stones and rocks without authorization and application of beach sand without environmental authorization.
Neymar Santos, the player’s father, even received a prison sentence after secretary Shayenne Barreto claimed that he had been disrespected. Afterwards, he ended up released for appointments in São Paulo.
In the before and after, it is possible to see that the space had a lake of a thousand square meters without much maintenance. After the task force, the place appears with crystalline waters, sand around and stones.
