THE Olivia Coleman, The Woody Harrelson and Idris Elba they read his speeches King Charles III of the United Kingdom for his channel at YouTube RE:TV.

The channel was created in 2020 and focuses on climate change. Since then more than 100 short films have been made about sustainable solutions and environmental protection.

With the new short film entitled “The King’s Speech” featuring 19 actors and environmentalists, the channel celebrates its arrival on YouTube.

Actors Olivia Colman, Woody Harrelson, Idris Elba and Glenn Close are among those reading extracts from King Charles’ speeches.

During his time as Prince of Wales, King Charles gave many speeches on the environment, the first in February 1970 when he highlighted issues of preserving ecosystems.

In his 2020 speech at Davos he underlined that “global warming, climate change, the catastrophic loss of biodiversity are the greatest threats humanity has ever faced and largely of our own making”.

RE:TV began airing during Climate Week three years ago as a content platform for short films with then-Prince Charles as editor-in-chief.

It was born out of his Sustainable Markets Initiative, which aims to accelerate the world’s transition to a sustainable future, as a way to inform and inspire the public.
