• A Midsummer Night’s Dream, by William Shakespeare directed by Hector Lygizou at the SNFCC

Transgressions, the series of dramatized analogies of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC), is coming out for the first time at the Stavros Niarchos Park. For five performances, on June 28, 29 and 30 and July 3 and 4, William Shakespeare’s most magical play, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, is presented in a theatrical reading specially adapted for the SNFCC Dome. Hectors Lygizos, concluding this year’s series of theatrical analogies of the SNFCC, which bore the general title “Love Matches”, directs an ensemble of young actors who, with simple theatrical means, tell us the complex story of the summer’s theatrical dream.
