Prince William is a big sports fan and never misses an opportunity to watch matches, especially when it comes to national team matches. Yesterday, July 1, he was in London to watch the cricket match between England and Australia. He was accompanied on the platform by little Prince George, enjoying the atmosphere of the sporting event with him.

The 9-year-old prince, second in line to the throne, was seen smiling as he watched the match. He wore a blue blazer and a plaid shirt. For his part, the Prince of Wales looked just as dapper, wearing a light blue jacket, white shirt and stylish sunglasses. The prince also very often explained to his son the points of the match, sharing with him his racing knowledge.

As the two enjoyed the match, the British media and social media users were commenting on the resemblance between them. Prince William has spoken repeatedly with the chairman of the Cricket Association, Richard Thompson, as well as with the British Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak.

During a stoppage in the game, father and son got up to get some refreshments, while Prince George was caught on camera eagerly enjoying a slice of pizza.

Prince William and his son are keen football fans and were previously spotted in April watching a Premier League match between Ashton Villa and Nottingham Forest.

Princess Kate Middleton is also a sports fan. Together with William, they have visited the changing rooms of the national football teams of Wales and England, and recently took part in a video uploaded to the Internet, showing the scenes of the Wimbledon tennis tournament with Roger Federer.
