The artist has been under observation since last Saturday (1st), when he was taken to the hospital with severe pain in his legs. Before that, he had consulted with doctors last Wednesday (28), the result of an inflammation of the sciatic nerve discovered earlier this month.
According to geriatric physician Roberta França, septicemia is an acute inflammatory process that occurs in the face of an infection.
“Septicemia can happen after a surgical procedure, intervention of any kind or even an open wound that inflames and the person did not take care of it properly”, he explains. “The body cannot handle it and tries to respond more aggressively, worsening the patient’s health condition. In these cases, hospitalization is mandatory.”
