Rikkie Valerie Kollé made history on July 8, 2023, as she became the first transgender model to win the title “Miss Netherlands 2023”. The pageant winner is from Brenda and aspires to be the voice of the queer community.
However, Rikkie Valerie Kollé received negative comments on social media, with many calling her “male”. Some, in fact, were not at all satisfied with the fact that a “biological man” took the place of women in beauty pageants.
