The movie “Barbie” is set to hit theaters on July 21
At the world premiere of the movie “Barbie” held at the Shrine Auditorium in downtown Los Angeles n Margot Robbie she had a surprise in store for her fans. She was photographed in front of the beloved pink car wearing a black, this time all sequin dress from the iconic doll’s wardrobe.
The Australian actress teamed up with her stylist Andrew Moukamal and the famous house of Schiaparelli to re-capture the look of the iconic 1960s doll called ‘Solo in the Spotlight’. She completed her look with long black gloves, mules and statement jewelry, while holding a pink scarf during the photoshoot.
At her side, her co-star and two-time Oscar nominee Ryan Gosling, who chose a pink suit from the famous house Gucci. The film’s director Greta Gerwig, also dressed in pink, was present, along with Dua Lipa, Nicki Minaj and America Ferrera.
“I don’t think most of us would be involved if it wasn’t for someone like Greta at the helmRobbie told Deadline about the director. “What she does in her films…she is so intelligent, but also so able to bring out both the humor and the emotion that the film requires“, he added.
