The singer says this book covers her “battle” to end her father’s legal control of her life and finances
Britney Spears’ memoirwith Title “The Woman In Me”, will be released in October. The pop star announced the upcoming book on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, saying: “Here it comes, my story, on my terms, finally. I worked hard on this book, I did a lot of psychotherapy to make this book happen, so I hope you like it,” he said in an Instagram video.
The book will be released by Gallery Books on October 24.

According to the publisher, the book will be a “brave and surprisingly moving story of freedom, fame, motherhood, survival, faith and hope” that will also cover the singer’s battle to end her guardianship.
The controversial court ruling governed Spears’ life for more than 13 years, allowing her father, Jamie Spears, to control her freedom and finances.

In her memoir, Spears will open up about her speech in court and the impact it had on other people, and explore the power of music and love.
Last June, she married her longtime partner, Sam Asghari, at her home in Los Angeles in a celebrity-studded ceremony, with guests including Madonna and Drew Barrymore.
