And this September, the Music Technopolis returns and gives rhythm to the city, with the Technopolis of the Municipality of Athens once again becoming the favorite concert destination in the heart of Athens.

After one strong musical summer with more than 30 concerts, sold-out performances, unforgettable performances, festivals and thousands of visitors who made appointments under the characteristic chimneys, the Technopolis stage turns on its lights again from September 2 to 16 and welcomes favorite artists, rising names, international schemes and festivals, in 13 musical evenings that complete this year’s Music Technopolis in the most ideal way.

It begins with the explosive “Purgatory” of Vevilos on Saturday, September 2, with the Gimme Shelter Open Air Fest following on Sunday, September 3, bringing to the stage – for the first time as headliners – Firewind, along with Timo Tolkki’s Strato, Nervosa, and Lazy Man’s Load.

On Wednesday, September 6, Marina Spanou and her band say their own goodbye to the past summer, while on Thursday, September 7, Iulia Karapataki comes with a program full of arrangements, traditional, artistic, old and new folk songs.

The strong vibes of the Off The Hook Festival fill Technopolis again this year in a two-day tribute to the culture of the hip hop scene on Friday 8 and Saturday 9 September, with a line up to be announced soon. With full-on energy comes the unpredictable Matoula Zamani on Sunday, September 10, ready to stir up the audience with her rich repertoire and spontaneity, giving the baton the next day to the unique Alcinoos Ioannidis.

Having reunited with his band after two decades, they are now traveling together throughout Greece and on Monday September 11th they will take the stage of Technopolis for a long-awaited date with the Athenian audience.

Continuation on Tuesday, September 12 with the…”Last concert” of Spyros Grammenos, but also the timeless Winter Swimmers who follow on Wednesday, September 13 and meet on stage in “Something like a festival” with the lovers of musical “experiments”, Kadinelia and Usurum.

The next day, the miscreants Hatzifragetas are… landing in Technopolis to meet their fanatical audience, while the legendary symbol bands Mora sti Fotia and Panx Romana unite for the “Manifesto of our heart” on Friday, September 15, in a live show with special guest Cemento.

Technopolis Music concludes this year with extra doses of summer: Greek audience favorites Allah-Las from California will “surf” Technopolis together with Underground Youth and Antonin on Saturday September 16, closing the curtain with waves of 60’s nostalgia and positive vibes that will make us look forward to next summer – and of course for the next Technopolis Music, the favorite summer habit of Athenians and visitors to the city!
