Kanye West made a rare live appearance at a Travis Scott concert.

The controversial rapper performed two songs in Rome in his first public appearance since he was heavily criticized for anti-Semitic comments online.

The rapper, fashion designer and entrepreneur, who has legally changed his name to Ye, appeared on stage at Travis Scott’s Utopia concert at the historic Circus Maximus on Monday night.

His account on X, formerly known as Twitter, was suspended for nearly eight months for violating the platform’s policy against incitement to violence and was reinstated last week.

“It’s been a long journey to get here,” Scott said. “I can say that there has only been one man on this … planet who has walked side by side with me in anything,” he added.

“There is no Utopia without Kanye West. There is no Travis Scott without Kanye West. There is no Rome without Kanye West. Make some noise for Ye” he said.

The two rappers took the stage and performed Kanye West’s songs ‘Praise God’ and ‘Can’t Tell Me Nothing’ together to an audience of 60,000 fans.
