Separated from former player Tom Brady, 46, since October last year, Gisele Bündchen, 43, says that the breakup brought lessons to her and her family.
“I’ve always trusted that every situation, no matter how challenging, has something to teach us and happens for our growth. Breakups are never easy, especially when there’s a whole media speculating every step”, she said in an interview with Vogue, of which she is cover this month.
“I tried to focus on my children, my health and my projects and dreams”, added the top model, who on Monday night (7) was present at a cocktail party at an event space located at the luxurious Iguatemi JK, in São Paulo . The model arrived at the venue shortly after 9 pm for the launch of a campaign for a shoe brand starring her.
In the publication, Gisele also spoke of the healthy practices that she is used to and that she does not give up. These include meditation and proper nutrition. More than 20 years ago, she quit smoking and also stopped drinking socially.
“Alcohol impairs immunity and, consequently, health. I also don’t drink coffee anymore. Chocolate is an old love, but, as I know that sugar is not good for me, I eat it rarely and only semi-sweet chocolate”, he reveals.
Gisele is due to launch a cookbook early next year and wants to reinforce the importance of healthy eating. “I’m going to share some easy and healthy recipes that we make at home with the intention of helping mothers looking for healthier options for their families.”
