Offset praised Oscar-winning actress Jamie Lee Curtis, calling her “authentic” for starring in his music video “Jealousy”.
The rapper revealed during an interview with Good Morning America how the actress agreed to star in the music video. “Jamie Lee Curtis is authentic” he said. “So I reached out to Jamie Lee Curtis on Instagram and said, “Yeah, I have an idea. I’d love to work with you.”».

Their communication took place shortly after the actress was awarded the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress at the 2023 awards ceremony for her performance in the film “Everything Everywhere All At Once”.
The actress and the rapper exchanged phone numbers and then agreed to work together.
