Xuxa’s interview with Folha caused separation from Luciano Szafir

Luciano Szafir told in the third episode of “Xuxa, the documentary”, that an interview given by him to Sheet in 1998 caused the separation of the former couple. The Queen of the Shorts was six months pregnant with their daughter, Sasha.

The presenter explained to the Gshow portal that the atmosphere weighed after a first interview she gave to the newspaper, in which she told the reporter that no one was handsome in Luciano’s family, except him. “I, pregnant, always joked that he was the most beautiful in the family. That was the last straw for his mother (Beth Szafir) to be upset, his sisters, his brother…”, she said.

In response, the actor publicly manifested himself in a press release, saying that the presenter “was unfortunate to reach” his family members, “which provoked an inflamed reaction on the other side”. Beth Szafir also submitted her opinion, as did Luciano’s brothers.

“It is clear that this is a cheap provocation, the departure of two very friendly ladies, with the clear objective of making believe that Luciano is the villain of the farce by forcing him to leave the show ahead of time”, said Sasha’s grandmother . Szafir’s twin sister, Priscila Bochner, said that she feared for her niece’s education and hoped that she would not be “contaminated by Xuxa’s foolishness”.

The presenter said that, after the statement, the then husband spent three days without speaking to her, before leaving the house: “I climbed on the clogs and when he got home his little things were already out”.

The former couple only spoke again after the birth of their daughter: “we didn’t even speak on the phone, I didn’t want to know. I thought he should have stayed by my side”.

Today, Xuxa and Luciano maintain a good relationship. “I take care of him, he takes care of me. I like him and he likes me. I really hope he gets along with his family. His wife, his kids, those boys are amazing,” she said.
