Twelfth Night, directed by Giorgos Kimoulis at the Sports and Cultural Park of Nea Makris

“Twelfth Night” by William Shakespeare, directed by Giorgos Kimoulis, continues its summer tour, on Tuesday, August 22, at 21:15, at the Sports and Cultural Park of Nea Makris. A hilarious comedy of unrequited love. Two twin brothers manage to survive after a shipwreck, forced to live in the same strange land, neither knowing if the other is alive. The constant misunderstandings, due to the absolute resemblance of the two brothers, make this entertaining work as one of the most popular Shakespearean comedies.

Occupation-Reporter: Antonioni’s film-station exclusively on the Riviera

Among this film week’s classic film re-releases, the standout is 1975’s ‘Profession: Reporter’, Jack Nicholson’s unsurpassed existential wandering by Michelangelo Antonioni. Synopsis: Early 70s. Successful British journalist David Locke (Jack Nicholson) wanders around sub-Saharan Africa, trying to film a documentary about the local guerrilla. In an attempt to change his life, he will assume the identity of a dead man, the mysterious David Robertson. But Locke’s and Robertson’s past haunts him, forcing him to constantly flee, from country to country, from city to city. With the help of a young student (Maria Schneider), he crosses the wilderness of the Andalusian countryside to meet his destiny.
