After almost two years, Mr The Weeknd has finally gotten rid of his little-used penthouse in the Westwood neighborhood of Los Angeles.

Occupying the entire 18th floor of the prestigious Beverly West building, the apartment the size of a mansion sold for 18 million dollarswell below the singer’s original asking price of $22.5 million and below the $21 million he paid four years ago to buy it.

The highlight of the apartment is undoubtedly the 360-degree view, which includes panoramic views of downtown Los Angeles, the Pacific Ocean and the Santa Monica Mountains.

There are four bedrooms and eight bathrooms, all with high ceilings, designer lighting and walnut paneling throughout. The master bedroom is surprisingly lavish. It has a boutique showroom-style wardrobe, a large bathroom with a steam room and bathtub, and a private balcony.

Its other notable features are a gym with mirrored walls, a great room that includes a lounge and a wet bar with a TV wall, white oak floors and a custom kitchen designed in Italy that is equipped with top of the line appliances.

Completed in the 2010s, the Beverly West building comprises just 35 luxury apartments, which offer many communal amenities including valet parking, 24/7 concierge, security guards, a swimming pool and a rooftop helipad.

None of this is cheap as well utilities are $8,000 per month.
