‘Scary’, defines Selena Gomez when faced with montage of her singing The Weeknd

Imagine singing an ex-boyfriend’s song and throwing it on social media for all the world to see. That’s more or less what happened to Selena Gomez, 31, and The Weeknd, 33, a former couple that broke up in 2017. However, artificial intelligence was the one who set up the montage that scared the singer.

When faced with a short video of her theoretically chanting the verses of “Starboy”, Selena immediately made a point of taking a stand. “Scary”, she wrote on a page that published the edition made with the voice of the American artist herself.

And interaction yielded comments and support from fans for a new novel. “Selena, what are you doing here?”, asked a follower. “Queen,” opined another. “Get back to The Weeknd already,” wrote another fan.

At the end of 2017, the singer put an end to the relationship that lasted ten months. But Selena seems not to have been worried, as a few days after the breakup she was already seen with Justin Bieber, her ex, on a lively bike ride.

She and Bieber publicly took over their relationship in 2010 and remained together, on and off, until 2015.

Selena Gomez’s love life has always given something to talk about. Last year, she entertained fans and viewers during her debut at the helm of Saturday Night Live when the artist spoke about romances and joked about being single.

“One of the reasons I was so happy to perform is because I’m single. I’ve heard that SNL is a great place to find love,” said the singer, referring to Emma Stone and Scarlett Johansson, who met their partners on program, in addition, Pete Davidson met Kim Kardashian also on the attraction.

“I just want the universe to know that I’m expressing love. I’d like to say that I’m looking for my better half, but I’m at a point where I already accept anyone”, he joked.
