Vitória Strada, 26, arrived with friends at the VIP box on the first night of The Town festival, in São Paulo. The actress, who recently ended her engagement to Marcella Rica, 31, said she was excited to attend concerts by Demi Lovato and Post Malone.
“I came with friends to enjoy it, we all agreed to come,” she said when asked if she was single. She even added that her heart was at the festival: “I’m with friends, with dear people around. I think it’s time to enjoy with them, it’s wonderful.”
The actress said that she would like one more name to be in the line-up of the festival: Lady Gaga. This is the artist she played last Sunday in the painting Batalha do Lynpsinc do Domingão com Huck (Globo). “It would be great, if she was here today, right?”, she joked. “Have you thought, I could go on stage to do the choreography (laughs).”
The performance, despite being highly praised, drew attention on social media for a small flaw. In the rush to change costumes, the wig was a little out of place, leaving the actress’s dark hair on display. “Oh, guys, it happens,” she wailed. “I think it’s also the adrenaline of the program you record live.”
About the champion, Bárbara Reis, she said that she was not upset with her colleague’s victory. “I was sad not to have won, but Bárbara made a beautiful presentation, she is incredible”, she praised her. “The proposal is for us to have fun, and I always go to a competition competing with myself.”
Recently, Vitória’s contract with Globo was terminated, but she says she shouldn’t stay away from TV for too long. “We are in a finale negotiating a return to a soap opera”, she says. “I have a very good relationship with the house, so now we intend to continue working together, just under another form of contract.”
She is also excited about the possibility of doing work on other platforms as well, such as streaming. “I’m in the mood to explore new ones,” she says. “I think we fulfill ourselves a lot as an artist when we do different things.”
