Metallica concert cancelled in the city of Glendale, Arizona in the USA last Sunday because the singer of the group, James Hatfieldwas diagnosed with Covid-19.
“We are very sorry to report that the scheduled M72 tour concert at State Farm Stadium has been postponed to Saturday 9th September 2023 as unfortunately Covid has caught up with James“, the heavy metal band announced on their website.

“We are extremely disappointed and sorry for any inconvenience this has caused you. We can’t wait to go back for the weekend in Glendale next Saturday” states the announcement.
With the M72 world concert, Metallica are promoting their 11th album, 72 Seasons, released in April 2023.
The tour ends in Detroit on November 10 and 12 and will resume in May 2024 with concerts in Europe and North and South America.
