After blocking accounts, Galvão Bueno’s defense claims that the case ‘is old’: ‘Causing embarrassment’

The court determined the blocking of Galvão Bueno’s accounts due to a lawsuit filed by a former partner of the narrator at Bueno Wines. According to UOL, only R$ 36.87 was found in the bank balance of the former Globo announcer. In the dispute, Alex Reiller de Moraes asks for the payment amount of a debt worth R$ 71 thousand and the defense questions the calculation made.

“This process is old and is still being processed in court. We did not agree at the beginning and continue not to agree with the nature of the process and the calculation of the amounts requested”, claims Galvão’s defense, in a note to F5. “Just as we do not condone the use of the public figure’s notoriety to cause embarrassment and take advantage. We continue to defend ourselves.”

The imbroglio between the narrator and Reiller began in 2018, with the breakup of the partnership and the non-payment of a fine to Galvão’s former partner. UOL also points out that the presenter did not deliver all the documents required in the process, which also led to the blocking of Bueno Wines accounts – which totaled R$ 51 thousand in balance.

According to the lawsuit, Reiller’s request to leave the company would imply the collection of fees in Italy, generating a disagreement between the parties. Judge Marcelo Augusto Oliveira’s decision is still subject to appeal.

Bueno Wines produces six wine labels and has grape production in Candiota, in Rio Grande do Sul, and in Italy itself.
