Driver who ran over actor Kayky Brito, Diones da Silva went to social media this Thursday (7) to thank the messages he has received from the public who are defending him. In a crowdfunding, he collected R$ 60 thousand in two hours.
He claims he is unable to work because his vehicle is damaged and has been blocked by one of the apps that provide trips to consumers.
“I am unable to work because my vehicle is damaged. The insurance deductible is high and I am unable to do that now. I have nowhere to take it from, it was the only livelihood I had to be able to bring food into the house “, commented the driver, who says he hopes for the actor’s recovery.
“It hasn’t been an easy day for me, I haven’t been able to sleep well because of everything that’s been going on. But I’m really hoping that Kayky gets out of this soon”, he commented.
“Kayky, recover and go back to your family, your little son. It’s what I want most because I’m also a father, I have two children. I wish from the bottom of my heart that this is resolved”, he concluded.
The driver reveals that he had a loss of R$ 10 thousand with the damaged car. On the internet, friends and colleagues are making a crowdfunding to help pay for the repair, which still does not have a forecast of being ready. R$ 60,000 had been raised by the close of the report, in two hours of the campaign.
To the police, Diones da Silva said he was surprised in the accident. The case is being investigated by the 16th DP in Rio. Kayky is in serious but stable condition at the Copa D’or hospital, in Leblon, in the south zone of Rio de Janeiro.
