Erika Januza gets engaged to the founder of AfroReggae at a party in Rio de Janeiro

Known for her work at Globo, actress Erika Januza and cultural producer José Júnior, founder of AfroReggae, got engaged last Thursday (7) at a party. They’ve been together since 2020, when they started dating after working together on Globoplay’s ′′ Archangel Renegade ′′ series.

The party was held in the city of Niterói, metropolitan region of Rio de Janeiro. Friends and family members were invited and posted records on social networks. Even though there was no official ceremony, the party took on the air of an almost wedding.

A friend of Erika and Junior played the celebrant. In the end, the artist kissed her lover, as if she were marrying a partner for life.

For the celebration, a house with a large garden was rented so that the guests could arrive without problems.

Due to the recent rains and instability in the weather in Rio de Janeiro, Erika said that it was necessary to resort to awnings at the last minute, since the party was outside. In the end, she got it all right.

Erika Januza already has her next job defined. Out of Globo after 11 years, she will have an important role in “Dona Beja”, a remake of a successful soap opera by the extinct Rede Manchete (1983-1999), which starred Maitê Proença.
