In every edition of A Fazenda, there is a participant that everyone bets will create a lot of controversy and in the 15th edition of Record’s rural reality show, this pawn already has a name. Or better yet: Cariúcha. After an exchange of insults with Jojo Todynho last month on social media and even threats of legal proceedings, the funk singer is in the cast of the attraction.
Alessandra Cariúcha, 32, became known in 2009 for her outburst on the program Profissão Repórter (Globo), after being disqualified from the “Garota da Laje” competition. She lost, but complained: “I’m much better than her [a vencedora]! I’m beautiful, I don’t have stretch marks, my chest is hard, I don’t have plastic surgery! I’m all natural, I’m pretty as hell,” she said at the time.
Cariúcha also works as an actress and, therefore, was almost left out of A Fazenda 15, as she recorded a comedy series led by Rodrigo Sant’Anna. According to columnist Gabriel Perline, the production would be shown on Globoplay, but ended up with Netflix. She then had to negotiate with streaming for her participation in the reality show led by Adriane Galisteu.
The entry of the funk singer is one of the program’s management’s bets and even before the confinement began in a hotel in Itapecerica da Serra, this week, Cariúcha promised his friends and family that he will reach the final of “A Fazenda”.
