After months of intense hype, the company Litmus Music confirmed that she bought the copyright to her songs Katy Perry (Katy Perry).

According to sources, the deal is worth $225 million and includes the star’s shares in master recording and publishing rights to the five albums she released between 2008 and 2020.

Specifically, it concerns the albums “One of the Boys”, “Teenage Dream”, “Prism”, “Witness” and “Smile”.

As it states VarietyUniversal Music Group continues to own the main album titles.

“Katy Perry is a creative visionary who has made her mark in music, television, film and philanthropy. It’s a great honor to work with her again and help Litmus curate her incredible repertoire,” said Litmus Music co-founder Dan McCarroll.

The singer will return for a seventh season as a judge on American Idol of ABC as announced in July.

According to Deadline, American Idol will premiere in the spring of 2024.
