Former daughter-in-law of singer Cher, 77, Marieangela King accuses the singer of having hired four men to kidnap her own son, Elijah Blue Allman. At the time, King was trying to resume her marriage with him when everything would have happened. The information is from the New York Post.
According to the publication, Elijah was allegedly taken from a hotel room in New York in November 2022 while having a conversation with his then ex-wife.
Both separated in 2021 and were trying to reconcile. The two spent 12 days together before Allman was taken away by the men on November 30 – his wedding anniversary.
“I currently have no knowledge of my husband’s well-being or whereabouts,” King wrote in the statement signed in court on Dec. 4, 2022, and obtained by the newspaper.
“I’m very worried about him. One of the four men who took him told me they were hired by his mother.”
Employees at a hotel where Elijah lived for six months began calling Cher frequently to warn her about the worrying appearance of her son, who was returning to using drugs and was always seen lying on the sidewalk, sometimes unconscious.
Cher, according to the publication, was trying to get him into rehab. She also did not approve of his relationship with King.
