The group NSYNC, which became a sensation in the late 1990s, when its members were still teenagers and included the future star justin timberlake, today released the first song he recorded in almost twenty years.

The American band reunited to record ‘Better Place’, one of the songs from the new animated film ‘Trolls Band Together’.

The one-time teen idols had hinted since last month that they would be getting back into the studio and then appeared together at the MTV Music Awards to present an award to Taylor Swift.

The new song harks back to the dance pop music that highlighted NSYNC in the late 1990s and early 2000s, with tracks like “Tearin’ Up My Heart.” This is their first song since their last album released in 2001, “Celebrity”.

The following year Timberlake announced that he would pursue a solo career and the band members said their final “Bye Bye Bye” in 2007.

Timberlake, now 42, composed the scores for the first two “Trolls” films and was nominated for an Oscar for the song “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” in 2017.
