British singer Ed Sheeran celebrated the release of his new album, “Autumn Variations”, in an unusual way this Friday (29). While in New York, in the United States, the 32-year-old artist decided to toast the occasion with his fans, footing the bill for drinks at several bars and even joining them in the spontaneous celebration. The result? A night of partying that left the singer completely drunk, as he himself confessed in a video.
“We’re at the first bar. I’m already on my first drink. I got a drink for everyone at the bar… But we’re not there yet”, joked the singer, revealing that the party was just beginning, in a first clip. “We’re going where people want to go!” added Ed, who was filmed on the subway and showed his gratitude by shaking hands with an excited fan.
At the next pub, the excitement and recognition was even greater, with the crowd singing choruses of “Ed! Ed! Ed!” with excitement.
The artist also shared his experience of the New York night in another video: “We finished tonight. We started in a place where they weren’t very excited. The next place? Neither. We took the subway and then? Here we are. I’m very drunk now. Very drunk. Anyway, ‘Autumn Variations’ is out,” he concluded, celebrating the success of his new work.
