You don’t always win. So says Mark Zuckerberg, 39, who this Sunday (1st) appeared with a face full of bruises in a photo published on social media.
“The fight got a little out of control,” explained the co-founder of Meta, a conglomerate that brings together Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp. “Maybe I need to update my avatar,” joked the businessman.
The publication, which had more than 190,000 likes in just over two hours on Instagram alone, received many comments from internet users around the world. “How did the other guy turn out, Mark?” wanted to know actress and model Nina Marie Daniele. “Sorry, but this photo is about to become a meme on the internet,” predicted content creator David Akinmoyede.
Zuckerberg is a fan of fights and has shown his mixed martial arts training on social media. In May, he competed in his first jiu-jitsu tournament and celebrated winning medals for the Guerrilla Jiu-Jitsu team.
In June, billionaire Elon Musk, from competitor X (formerly Twitter), challenged him to a fight. Although the messages exchanged on social media went viral and Dana White (UFC president) was excited about the possibility, the clash has not yet taken place – and it appears to be nothing more than a joke between the two.
