Second in Europe after Sardinia, according to Readers’ Choice Awards 2023
Another first, from the Greek side, was won by Mykonos in the Readers’ Choice Awards 2023 of the world-renowned travel magazine Conde Nast Traveler.
The rating, based on the voting of millions of readers from all over the world, concerns the 20 best islands in Europe.
According to the results, the Island of the Winds was ranked first among Greek destinations and second in all of Europe after Sardinia, with a score of 87.35.
The rating is based on the satisfaction levels declared for these islands by the magazine’s readers.
At the first 20 of the Greek islands are also found Parosthe Corfuthe Rhodesthe Kosthe Skiathosthe Sifnosthe Santorini and the Crete.
The remaining European destinations include, among others, Ibiza, the Canary Islands, the Azores, Minorca, Hvar in Croatia, Malta, Ischia in Italy, Majorca, etc.
The Mayor of Mykonos Kon. Koukas stated that once again it proves that Mykonos is a protagonist. “We are particularly happy that our island is firmly holding the scepter in travelers’ preferences, which confirms the high level of services and the unique experience that only our island can offer”.
