Luísa Sonza finally broke her silence about the interview given to Ana Maria Braga in which she exposed the betrayal of her ex-boyfriend, Chico Moedas. In a conversation with influencer Foquinha, this Thursday (5), the singer addressed several aspects of this episode.
When asked about the allegations that she had planned this controversy as a strategy to promote her album “Escândalo Íntimo”, Luísa was emphatic in denying any intention in this regard. “I’m amazed at people’s ability to think that this could be something that I planned or that I would like for myself”, began the singer.
She continued to explain: “It would never be something planned. I didn’t even want to (…) Everything was beautiful, it was already the most listened to album in history. The last thing I would want was for something from my personal life to take away from me. I’m focused right now, which is getting my album out and getting back on tour.”
The artist also shared the dilemma she faced before exposing her ex-boyfriend’s betrayal on the program “Mais Você”. “I spent many days not knowing what to do. My biggest fear was being blamed for something again. People are already talking about me and I’m staying quiet. And staying quiet, in a situation like this, was already done. I would be attacked a lot”, revealed the artist.
Luísa also emphasized that it was a spontaneous and unplanned choice to read the open letter live. “If you see the full interview, you see that I had no intention of saying anything. I was very fragile at that moment, I was in no condition to do anything, so much so that I canceled all other things.”
The singer also explained her hesitation in appearing on Ana Maria Braga’s program, mentioning that she initially considered canceling her participation, but was convinced to share her story. “I only went to Ana Maria because it was a big dream of mine to be there. It took a long time for us to get there. It was Gaucho day, it had been scheduled for a long time. I wanted to cancel at first, I didn’t want to go, but then everything The world convinced me and said that I had to talk about it, that there was no point in hiding it”, he confessed.
Finally, Luísa Sonza surprised by revealing that she prepared several other written texts about the breakup and betrayal, even mentioning that she had “almost an entire album” of material on the subject.
