Kim Kardashian graces the cover of the magazine’s October/November issue “Fortune”. The 42-year-old famous TV personality, who was named by the magazine as one of the 100 most powerful women, showed that she is a serious, but sexy businesswoman.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star is idolized by the magazine for her clothing and underwear company, which is currently estimated to be worth more than $4 billion.

Taking… the crown and representing the list of most powerful women, Kardashian made a glamorous appearance on the cover. In her interview, Kim Kardashian talked about her next new project – venture capital and opening her new private equity firm, SKKY Partners.

She explained that she wants to do it in a different way this time, as she doesn’t just invest in someone, but wants to be active in the whole process. “I wouldn’t be involved in anything if I couldn’t do it this way,” he said.

Fortune also spoke with producer Scott Budnick, who worked with Kardashian on one of her passion projects, prison reform, to confirm her dedication to her cause. “When she sees something she really believes in, she gives it her all,” Budnick said of the billionaire mogul.

Kim Kardashian also admitted that the “key” to her professional success is her foresight, patience and good planning. “I am a person who has been designing for eight to ten years. And I think it’s really important to have that patient mindset.”

People who work closely with Kardashian also confirmed and revealed that she is downright professional and “laid-back” compared to her on-screen persona. She has been described as a good listener, who first listens to all available information and then takes action. Kardashian said she adopted this approach after years of being on the other side of this “power dynamic” and feeling unheard. And now, she’s bringing that to her newest venture, teaming up with former Burberry CEO and Apple SVP Angela Ahrendts as an adviser to SKKY Partners.

As for how she made it this far, despite facing people who doubted her abilities, she said it’s her desire to establish herself professionally and leave her own “legacy.” “Maybe this is part of my effort. The fact that some have underestimated me and continue to do so keeps me on my toes,” she added.
