Kate Moss, rather, she is not worried about her future, since her fortune reaches 70 million dollars. The 49-year-old model was discovered by Storm Management in 1988 after agency founder Sarah Doukas spotted her walking through New York’s JFK airport after a family vacation in the Bahamas.

At the age of 14 she made her catwalk debut and everyone was now talking about her. Kate rose to fame in the mid-1990s with a topless Calvin Klein jeans ad when she was just 16. She became synonymous with ‘heroin chic’, an aesthetic of the decade due to her lean body and fair skin, but she herself called the term awful.

She has appeared on the cover of fashion magazine ‘Vogue’ more than 30 times during her career, and in 2007 TIME magazine named her one of the 100 most influential people in the world. With no real breaks in her twenty-plus year career, the mother of one is one of the most overworked models in the fashion industry.

She faced a major setback in 2005, however, when newspaper photos allegedly showed her “snorting” cocaine in a recording studio with her then-boyfriend, singer Pete Doherty. The scandal “cost” Kate Moss important contracts with international companies, including Chanel, while H&M famously withdrew her from the Stella McCartney collection campaign. But she managed to keep major contracts with Christian Dior and Rimmel and then won back her deal with Chanel.

The famous model bounced back and went on to secure deals with Louis Vuitton, Calvin Klein and Virgin Mobile, as well as Longchamp, Mango and Vogue-Eyewear, before earning £3m designing clothes for Topshop the following year. Kate Moss was even honored at the British Fashion Awards for her contribution to the fashion industry over 25 years.

The model has her own agency called ‘Kate Moss Agency Limited’. In July it was revealed that she has almost tripled the income of her clients signed to her agency. Her clients include her daughter Lila Grace, singer Rita Ora and Bobby Gillespie’s son Lux.
