Shakira seemed particularly “open” and honest during the conversation, explaining that she was feeling frustrated with her team at the time. “Everyone leave me alone. I’m not a UN diplomat, I’m an artist. I’m a woman, I’m a wounded wolf,” she continued, referring to her high-profile split with ex-footballer Pique.

And the famous artist continued: “They told me: ‘You’re crazy, you have to change these lyrics, this can’t be released.”’ In the song, Shakira made direct references to her ex, accusing him of his infidelity and his extramarital affair with Clara Chia.
