Influencer Jojo Todynho reported a case of racism she recently suffered during a trip to Miami, in the United States. The story was revealed this Sunday (8) on her official Instagram.
Jojo commented that he was traveling, when he was at the airport waiting to get into business class, with more expensive prices and sophisticated service.
A white woman, apparently American, questioned his presence at that moment. She understood thanks to the help of Brazilian women on site.
“I suffered racism. I was in line for a flight back to Brazil, and a white American woman came to me and said to me: ‘Are you sure you’re in the right line?'”, said Jojo, with an indignant expression.
“I didn’t understand properly, because I don’t speak English. A woman translated for me. It was a Brazilian woman who picked the fight for me. We were even late for the flight”, she commented.
“I was in shock. Things changed, they even upgraded, it was another story. I didn’t post it. But I could come here and post it. People have a habit of belittling other people’s pain and saying they want to show themselves. For love of God. Human beings are getting sicker every day”, concluded the singer.
