Angelina Jolie will play the greatest lyrical singer of the 20th century Maria Callas in the film by Chilean director, screenwriter and producer Pablo Laren.
Based on true accounts, the film “Maria” unfolds the turbulent, beautiful and tragic life story of the leading soprano and focuses on her last days in Paris in the 1970s. The screenplay is by Stephen Knight.
