The new theatrical year will find Emilios Chiilakis starring, but also co-directing with Manolis Dounias, the classic French comedy, “Don’t Be Lucky!…” by Francis Veber – also author of the theatrical hits “Dipno Ilithion”, ” The Crazy Cage” – together with: Christodoulos Stylianou, Tania Trypi, Eleni Karakasis, Eugenia Xygorou and Nina Foskolou.
L’Emmerdeur is one of the most popular plays on the French- and English-speaking stages, where it has been staged twice by Kenneth Branagh. It has been adapted five times for the cinema, the most famous being the American version by Billy Wilder with Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau and the French version with Jacques Brel and Lino Ventura.
