The first excerpts from Britney Spears’ long-awaited memoirwith Title “The Woman in Me” they saw the “light” of publicity and “revealed”, among other things, a painful experience that the famous singer had kept secret for 20 years.

According to People magazine, which pre-published an excerpt of it “The Woman in Me” the famous singer became pregnant during her relationship with Justin Timberlake.

“For me, pregnancy was not a tragedy. I loved Justin so much. I always hoped that one day we would start a family together. It’s just that this would happen much sooner than I expected. But Justin was definitely not happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were too young…I don’t know if that was the right decision. If it was up to me I would never have done it. And yet Justin was so sure he didn’t want to be a father“, the star wrote.

The couple’s relationship began in 1999, when Spears was 17 and Timberlake was 18, and lasted until 2002.

“To this day, it is one of the most agonizing things I have ever experienced in my life“, the singer wrote in her book. “The Woman in Me” will be released on October 24, via Simon & Schuster’s Gallery Books.
