Bear Grylls, 49, also referred to his father Michael, who was a commando in the Royal Marines, and the man who taught him to love adventure from an early age and has been a source of inspiration for him throughout the years. “I was a boy scout at a young age and really wanted to do a job that had something to do with adventure and the outdoors“, he said in his interview.

His latest photoshoot comes after Bear said he was “ashamed” that he used to promote vegetarianism and now avoids vegetables altogether. Last May, he claimed he had never felt stronger and that his skin and gut had never been better, after ditching the plant-based diet.
