Bella Hadid says she cries ‘every day’ with depression

Model Bella Hadid, 25, vented on social media this Tuesday (9) that she has been crying almost “every day” and “every night” in recent years due to depression. She posted several photos of herself in tears and reminded her followers that social media is not real life.

“For anyone struggling, remember this. Sometimes all you need to hear is that you’re not alone,” she wrote in a long caption. “So from me to you, you are not alone. I love you, I see you and I hear you.”

The model went on to tell fans that mental health and chemical imbalance are not “linear” and likened it to a roller coaster with “ups and downs” and “side by side”.

“There’s always light at the end of the tunnel, and the roller coaster always comes to a complete stop at some point… [mas] it gets better,” he said.

Hadid further wrote that she had “enough breakdowns and breakdowns” to know that “if you work hard enough on yourself, spending time alone to understand your traumas, triggers, joys and routine, you will always be able to understand or learn more about your own pain and how to deal with it. Which is all you can ask of yourself.”

The model ended her post by thanking fans for listening to her share her truth.

Hadid, who in the past has spoken openly about battling severe depression and anxiety since she was a teenager, took a short break in January on social media to focus on her mental health.

“I’m just here to be an instrument of peace and love to help the suffering people and, hopefully, the world, in time,” she captions a series of photos via Instagram. “Take the time to get help with your mental health. It’s worth reaching your full potential,” he said at the time.
