Sheron Menezzes was yet another victim of violence in Rio de Janeiro. Two days ago, the actress suffered an armed robbery in the west of the city and only now decided to share details of the unpleasant experience. During the criminals’ action, she was almost run over by a speeding bus on the region’s main road: “I received two miracles! I was reborn. I learned even more the value of every moment. I’m here alive and happy”, began Sheron.
The protagonist of the soap opera “Vai na Fé”, one of Globo’s latest hits at 7pm, gave details of the robbery carried out by four armed men. “They wanted to take the car and my things and, while I was getting out of the car, a bus, traveling at more than 80 km/h, hit the back of my car,” she explained. “This driver didn’t see what was happening, he didn’t see the car stopped on the street. With the impact of the crash, I ended up hurt, but it was very little compared to what could have happened.”
The actress recalled the nervousness of one of the robbers. “He [um dos criminosos] I screamed a lot that I wanted my cell phone, that I wanted my ring. But the group didn’t fire any shots, they managed to escape and the bus didn’t run over me… For a few moments I said: ‘My God, so many things could have happened…'”.
The actress said that she feels reborn after the episode. “It’s as if I had two birthdays, a new opportunity to do better and rethink the things that are important to me. Living in a lighter way, doing good, living love”, she reported assuming that she is now more reflective. “It was a great opportunity to do everything better. And since I had that opportunity, I’m going to live a life well lived.”
