Her friendships with women are outlined in the book as the most important and passionate in her life. “In many of my friendships with women it was like we were each other’s lifelines. In the book, men are awful. Why; “Men aren’t born awful. Society makes them awful. Patriarchy is bad for women but it is also very bad for men. Consequently, I empathize more with men’s plight – although I have no tolerance for them I understand that what they are is not their fault alone. They are born into a system that creates them. And obviously they benefit greatly from it, but I think it can be very lonely. They don’t know how to regulate their emotions because they were never taught to recognize their emotions, they don’t know how to process their emotions. Why are women so attracted to her? “I don’t know, but I’m so glad it’s happening. I think my fanbase is 90% female and 10% gay, and that’s the best. In fact there are probably more gays and maybe a couple of straights on the planet. But I like this. I remember back in the days of the movie “Uncut Gems” when I looked at my follower count on my Instagram account it was 85% male. I was like “oh my god, I’m doing something wrong!
